Proportional

We ventured into the Kingdom of Fife today.

Been meaning to go to Culross for a wee while now, so that was our first stop. Although it was a reasonable bright day the wind coming off the Firth of Forth was fairly stiff and a bit chilling. Nothing else for it then but to check into the Biscuit Café. Mrs T and GG sat inside in the small conservatory whereas Breagha and I were consigned to the very pretty and sheltered garden. The sun even came out.

After some lovely tea and scones we wandered around the Medieval streets for a while before again braving the wind along the shore to give Breagha a good run before getting back to the car. The buildings with their brightly coloured walls and tiled roofs together with the tight cobbled streets gives the place the feel of an other time altogether. I like it.

Next stop was Aberdour. Just a short visit though and definitely one for another day.

Back across the border to Loch Leven's larder, then onto the Brig Farm shop near Bridge of Earn and were all set for tonight's dinner.

Can't quite believe that that's the weekend almost over though.
