House Construction 16--Living Area

This is the inside of our new house--still in progress but looking wonderful. You MUST compare it with this blip of the same view last December.

We've been in Paris since January, returning yesterday, and this was our first chance to see the progress that had been made inside. I'm standing at the front of the open living/dining room area, looking toward the large kitchen and the stairway to the second floor (with its three rooms). Our bedroom will be on this floor, out of sight to the left.

The design of the house is excellent--simple and practical, and the workmanship is superb. We expect to move in as renters around May first.
