Timeless

The Kings Theatre is timeless. The advertising is sedate and the architecture allowed to remain free of glass and steel "upgrades".

Tonight we went to see Equus. In advance I knew two things.

1) The London version originally starred Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter!) and now stars Lilly Allens brother (alongside Simon Callow).

2) There is full frontal nudity (both genders).

Now all star and gimmiks don't necessarily make for great theatre so I had low expectations, but the play was truly exceptional. If you get the chance, it's definitely worth seeing.
