Lolak impersonator

There is a famous comedien turned politician here named LOLAK who has a mohawk, when Max and I came here 2 years ago everyone was pointing and laughing and saying 'Lolak, Lolak!!' Eventually we saw a poster of him and realized what the fuss was about!! Anyway 2 years on the reaction is the same! This lady was offered the privilege of touching the crest of the the Lolak impersonator much to her delight!
She was selling small bags of fruit in plastic bags at Uluwatu temple to feed to the monkeys, quite a scary experience!! Much more aggressive than the ones in Ubud, I saw them try to steal shoes, grab a toddlers foot and shoe, really scary, poor little mite was screaming and they also stole some sunglasses (Not ours!) and snatched the bag of fruit from Zebedee very roughly, I was pretty keen to get away from them!!! The view was amazing but it was sooooo hot! Zebedee had a stick and Gulli had a catapult, they do run off when you make noise with these at them thank goodness!
Afterwards we went to a cafe and got a coconut to drink and watched as the cafe owners chased the monkeys away by banging long bamboo sticks at them! A couple mated on the wall and of course the boys thought that was hilarious!
Then our driver recommended a great Thai restaurant for lunch!
Going home tomorrow!! It's been an amazing holiday but we are all looking forward to getting back and I am desperate to see the Bluebells in Kew Gardens!!

THANKS SOOOO MUCH TO EVERYBODY FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL COMMENTS ON MY 365 YESTERDAY! I AM VERY TOUCHED :-) XXX
