The Path Least Traveled

You Scratch My Back, And I'll Scratch Yours.

The lone explorer continued to follow the giant in the sky until one day after rest, the giant could not be found. He searched the sky for a sign which would show him where his trusted companion had gone, but there was nothing. He wondered around the slightly worn path for hours, he could hear a light buzz coming from an unsure area. The lone explorer thought to himself, "If it will try to hurt me, I have nothing to protect myself with. If it will try and help me, I would be silly to flee." With a hint of courage, the lone explorer continued onward towards the unfamiliar sound. A new creature to him walked gracefully upon an unwelcoming plant. The lone explorer asked in a confused tone, "What are you doing here?" The creature continued to float effortlessly, paying mind only to his task. "What are you doing here?" the lone explorer asked again with a hue of agitation in his voice. After a few moments, the creature looked up at the lone explorer. In a calm, old voice, the creature perked up and said, "To live in a world with others, you must work with others." A thoughtful expression consumed the lone explorers' face as the creature jumped into the air and flew off.
