Connection 2

We had some gentle rain showers yesterday afternoon and evening. Only a little, but the first real rain for 3 months.

This morning, some leaves were still bejewelled with raindrops, none more so than the Alchemilla Mollis, that always seems to hold a diamond in the centre of each leaf, but they were in the shade, so I settled on these self seeded Aquilegia leaves.

I love the anticipation of the different Aquilegia flowers, this year there are some lovely blue ones with white edging that I haven't seen before.
