Homeward Bound

Today we set off home from Portugal knowing it was going to be a long journey and that our flight would be delayed or redirected due to the ash cloud over Scotland. When we got to Faro airport we were finally told our flight would be diverted to Leeds but only following a 7 and a half hour delay. Then we would have an overnight bus trip home adding to that.

Having had a nice holiday I wasn't too bothered, but wasn't looking forward to the long bus trip through the night.

Last pic from Portugal was a day lilly in the gardens of the hotel. Oh well I've had a great holiday so can't complain - now back to the cold and windy conditions once more.
