the lorelei in london

the lorelei used to play london all the time back in the 90s but haven't played here since about 1996...so this gig was quite a big deal. I can honestly say that it was one of the best lorelei gigs I've been to tonight - and I've been to many. they played a blinder! well done to them - their album launch has gone so well for them and fat hippy (so far), we all missed miss diane a lot but they really did her proud tonight.

managed to meet up with old pal and fellow blipper squirk tonight too - so ace to see her after such a long time, it's been fifteen years since we graduated...*horrified*

so today I spent most of the afternoon wandering round the vintage shops in brick lane with gillian and ewan - could have spent a real fortune but ended up spending just more than I should have. and nearly got chucked out of a shop for taking a possible blip of loads of converse by some jobsworth security guy. this seems to have been a theme this weekend - my sister was nearly chucked off the plane yesterday for filming the safety demo, haha! what can I say, we blippers are living on the edge...
