King Fishers

They've had so many battles;
Seems conflict never ends
And yet, when off the chessboard,
They're the very best of friends:

The black king and the white king.
They like fishing days the best;
Side by side for hours and hours -
It gives their brains a rest.

Today begins with all they wish,
The sort of day they like ...
Till White King lands a big fine fish,
And Black King - one old bike!
