phase one achieved!

So, this is a rather proud (though not cocky or smug at all) photo of the note I got from our course trainer - it is the score I got in yesterday's exam. I think it's the first exam I've taken in about 15 years, and while I didn't get stressed about it, it was certainly a different experience to your average wednesday afternoon.

And this mark means that I've passed (woop!), so I can now take Friday afternoon's exam, which means a whole lot more learning and consolidating, and sitting in exam conditions on an uncomfortable chair in an airless room for 2.5 hours, over-thinking things and not reading the questions properly. My average score for the practice papers for tomorrow is 75%, which is good enough - I think I'll be happy with anything over 65% to be honest.
