WAIT

How pedestrian of me.

Drama at the airport in Entebbe. British ******* Airlines oversold our flight so 3 of our team didn't get a boarding pass. (BA, you're a bunch of jackasses.) They were flown to Nairobi instead and from there to London. As a consequence, they missed our last night together in London.
Long 9 hour flight. Four movies. Lots of thinking.. that's usually a dangerous thing and this time was no exception. So many questions and scenarios running through my mind I feel like it's playing tricks on me. Turns out, it is.

We went to what MUST be the best Italian restaurant in London: Osteria dell'angolo. It was incredible. To Sara's and my delight, they had steak tartare. But not just any steak tartare. this steak tartare was covered in black summer truffles. Tartufi neri? Are you kidding me? I ordered that and the tagliatelle ... con tartufi neri. Yeah, I'm a sucker for truffles. Michael ordered an Antinori wine that was incredible. A perfect last supper.
And the hotel that EJ picked out for us was stellar. I had a bathroom. IN MY ROOM. And it had a door. And hot water. And I could brush my teeth in the sink. And.. get this, I didn't have to sleep with a mosquito net. Win, win, win.

WAIT. What a theme in my life right now. More on that in Sunday's blip apparently. Stay tuned.
Apparently, I'm being called to be patient. So.. I'm praying fervently for patience.
