Ducks

Random U/S-Bahn Station 2: U8 - Franz-Neumann-Platz am Schäfersee.

The weather here today was sooooo nice. It wasn't quite sunny during the morning hours but in the evening it was crisp and clear and warmer than it has been during the evening since I got here. Right next to the U-Bahn station was a little pond with ducks and a nice park around it. It was really the perfect place to be on a Sunday evening.

This morning I woke up after a night of cuttin' a rug at Steinhaus (a club in Prenzlauer Berg). From 12:00 to 1:00 Beck's were half-price, from 1:00-2:00 longdrinks were 2.50, and from 3:00-4:00 (there was no 2:00-3:00 because of DST) all cocktails were 3.50. I wore the blue suede jacket I bought yesterday with a shirt and tie and I got some weird looks and comments, but I didn't care.. it was a very enjoyable evening. Anyway, I woke up at about noon today and went to brunch with the people who were at the club last night (3 Germans and an American). We talked for a few hours and then went to the visitor's center of the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe. It was very, very bedrückend and beeindruckend. After that I came home and hung out for a while before heading out to take pictures.

It was a good lazy sunday :)
