evening sunlight on the shore of the spree

There's a piece of Spree shoreline along Monbijouplatz that is really, really pretty during the middle hours of the evening. Today the violets (?) were all in bloom, the sun was coming down at a very nice angle and illuminating everything, and lots of people were strolling along the sand walkway.

The weather here has been really crummy lately, but this afternoon it finally cleared off. It felt nice to have sunlight again. Hopefully it stays this way for a while...
