I saw this in the viewfinder this morning, and instantly knew it was going to be my Blip for the day.


It reminds me a bit of one of my favorite photographers - Garry Winogrand. In the sixties, he published a book (The Animals) of photographs of visitors to the New York Zoo - the shots beautifully comparing his human subjects with the animals in the cages behind them.

FYI, this shot of Winogrand's is perhaps one of my favorite photos ever.




P.S. - I prefer this more vertical version of this shot, but it didn't work at all within Blip's square constraints.
