Poolside

As I was playing around with the wide lens today, I realized that I have absolutely no idea what to do with it.

I just don't see things that way, I guess - I had a hard time even figuring out what to shoot with it, and an even harder time getting any results that were even remotely interesting.

It'll be handy outside the city - certainly in Arizona next week - but I'm not sure I'll get much use out of it here. Maybe for interiors.

Good news, though (well, not for my wallet) - I got the call this morning that my backordered Lensbaby had come in! A quick trip to the camera shop this afternoon, and voila - another new toy.

This shot, then, is from the Lensbaby. It certainly has a bit of a learning curve, and it definitely is not for quick point-and-shoot photos, but I think it's going to be a lot of fun to play with.
