Red, White and Blue

It's the end of the second day of my family's visit here in Berlin and goodness are we all exhausted. I took them on my master tour of the city (up and down Unter den Linden to see all the sights, to the Brandenburg gate where the US was celebrating the opening of the new embassy, down Friedrichstraße, to Warschauer Straße and the East Side Gallery, back to Alexanderplatz, to a Mexican restaurant for dinner and then to Mauerpark to wrap the day up). We must have walked at least 6 miles today, and even though I'm used to it, my legs still really hurt.

It was nice to have a day of good weather after rain most/all of yesterday. I got a bit of a burn but I don't mind very much. Hopefully the weather will stay this nice for the next few days...

Tomorrow: Taking the fam to a Mauerpark Sunday! Very exciting :)
