Dark satanic hills

Not mills :-) Weather in Murch today has proved an interesting challenge. Started last night with power cuts ( some up the valleys off for a potential 4 days), romantic candles and peanut butter sandwiches ( and irn bru with no electricity for tea). Today we got to school as did our buses but as soon as we got the kids to school we sent them home again. Forecast was such that we couldn't risk leaving it until later in the day. Some of our students live 40km outta town on some very snowy hills. So they arrived at 8.45 and by 11am were on their way home again. You can just imagine what the 'townies' thought of having to stay at school all day :-)
