In the time of witch hunts it is said that the accused was tossed from this bridge into the roaring waters bellow. If they survived or floated they were a witch. They were then hanged by the neck till dead & burned at the stack for good measure. If they drowned & sunk they were innocent & proclaimed so by the church. Pretty brutal I think. I certainly wouldn't like to take a tumble in to the turbulent waters below.

Of on holiday tomorrow, so I will be blip less for 5 hole days. I promise I will back blip when I get back - I hope I don't get withdrawal symptoms lol.
