Bassano del Grappa

Spent the morning and lunch at Bassano del Grappa...a town i love...full of charm..and history!
It's name comes from the Mount Grappa...and it gives the name as well to the famous grape's distillate! ....and u can find and visit few distilleries there!
It's a town famous for its bridge....an emblem as well and memory of the World War I that touched Bassano!...it's famous for the Alpini...it's famous for the great food, such as porcini mushrooms with polenta....it's famous...well...i'll let u read the wikipedia page...and browse more websites if u like...but i suggest, as best way to discover it...to simply visit Bassano...and enjoy it!:)

This is quite a postcard shot...i also love the view of the mountains from the bridge....but this with the bridge just represent Bassano so well...and so i opted for it!
