Big Meadows

I took my mom up to the Shenandoah mountains today to stroll around, see the leaves, take some photographs, spend the night, and just get away from the house a little bit. This is where we always went camping growing up and it's been years since I've been back. It was absolutely FREEZING though but we had a good time tromping through this meadow and I amused my mom by setting up the camera with the self timer and running into some portraits of the two of us.
