To Infinity and beyond

We headed up to Edinburgh this evening for the switching on of the Christmas lights and the opening of the German and Highland Markets.
The city looks festive and had the typical Edinburgh welcome to the festive season with bitterly cold wind and rain- even a tiny flurry of snow that lasted a nano second but generated a cheer from the crowd

The markets are a haven for blippers ? we took loads of pictures of the lights, the colours, stock and people. However as we were perished and the lights and supposed fireworks had gone off, the onlookers attempted to skate on the ice rink or play on the ?snow dodgems? or meander through the markets sipping mulled wine, we headed to Jenners to defrost!
Whilst nipping through one of the departments we had fun with a mirror ? childish I know but S was game for a quick blip before a sour faced sales assistant headed our direction!
