Final proof...

For the last year I've been helping my friend Noel write his life story. It's quite harrowing in places.

Today, I got the final proof to check from the printer. With only 24 hours before Christmas Day, I flicked through and rushed to the post office to get next day delivery. Printing can't start until they get this proof back. It's due out in Jan so the pressure is on.

I always love the rainbow of colour samples along the bottom of book proofs...
