Daylight and more snow

I went walking today with my friend Colin to Glentress. I've only ever been there mountain biking and wasn't convinced it was going to be a very spectacular walk as most of the walk is on tracks and within the forest itself.

We were pleasantly surprise as we got further up the hill to find a good covering of snow with more falling as we continued upwards. It ended up being quite challenging as all the tracks were covered and it became quite difficult to find our way through some of the forest sections.

This shot was taken as we found our way out of one section. I was frozen when I got back to the car but it was a good day out and very satisfying.
