~Unexpected Spectacle~

I was out on Catalina Ridge Road again this evening.
My favorite local haunt for catching the setting sun.
There was lots of cloud activity on the distant horizon.
Unfortunately the sun was down behind those clouds.
I took a few photographs, but it wasn't looking too good.
Then just as I was climbing back in the truck, it happened.
The sun broke out from the base of the cloud mass.
This event turned an unexciting sky into this little treasure.
