Keep still....

The passenger jets coming in to land at Manchester airport are experiencing low cloud tonight and are making it rather difficult to photograph them. Also it is pitch-black, which makes it doubly difficult to photograph. Even when the ISO is pushed up to maximum, the shutter speed is too slow. Even with the 2.8 lens, the speed is too slow. I suppose I could have used the monopod to steady myself a bit, but I only thought about it afterwards. I might make it a project to see If I can get one really sharp in the dark.
However, tonight, sharpness is not really the name of the game. I think the overall impression works. The important thing tonight is the search for food....
