Eider in take off

I was trying to get some close ups of the eiders today when they suddenly decided to move on. This shows how they get started, running along the water and flapping lots. The splashing in the background was made by the others doing the same thing.

I'd like to try this again with a tripod and faster shutter speed but at least you get the sensation of movement.
