voting

so in NOTA we always go through this really strenuous process to decide who gets the solo for the songs we sing. It's not really all that complicated... the people who try out for the solo (in this case, mariah carey's "always be my baby") sing a chorus and a verse and then leave the room, and the rest of the group members take a vote. We almost always split evenly between two or three people and then have to go through a grueling set of debates before coming to a conclusion. It's probably my least favorite thing about NOTA.
