Musée Beaux Arts

No class today, so I showed my brother around town. I was excited to show him where I have lived for the past four and a half months. This is what we did:

- Victoire ? sat at café and had drinks. He was amazed at how strong the coffee was.
- Since Rue Sainte Catherine starts at Victoire we walked down it. We did some shopping and my brother really liked the French fasions.
- Had lunch at Place du Parlement. I?ve been wanting to eat at Karl?s and I would say they really had good food. We both had turkey tartines.
- Went to buy him a 10 voyage pass at Quinconces and then went to the Girondin monument at the esplanade.
- We then tried to go to Musée d?Aquitaine, but they were closed so we went to the Beaux Arts museum instead, which was good because I?ve never been there. There was even a special collection of French docks and dockers too. The collection was called ?Sur les quais?.
- Then we went home and had dinner. The night before I made fettuccini with tuna. I had a can of tuna I?ve been wanting to use for fettuccini but I never used it till now. It required a can opener, which we don?t really have, so I stabbed it open with a knife. He liked it.
- Afterwards, we went to the billiard place right down my street. April and I have always wanted to go there, so I invited her to come too.
- It was a good day.

Pictured above is a part of the Beaux Arts museum. The museum is located directly behind Hotel de Ville. In the background you can see the St. Michel spire. You can see that everywhere.
