Saturday 5 May 2007: Kevin and his Trombone

Today I heard some brass music while working in the lab. I became curious and looked around where it came from.

In the restroom next to the lab I found the source of the music.

Kevin is 27 years old and a student of Mathematics. He plays trombone for over 7 years but took a break for several years. Now he is practicing on a daily basis again. Because he attended a math conference at the university today, the only chance to practice was in the break of the conference.

  1. I hope that's the only sound coming from there. Excellent strategy hiding from the mirror. Don't fall in.

  2. great shot - love the colors and the way you managed to avoid your reflection in the mirror - gives it a wonderful perspective.

  5. great shot Jens. That's pretty dedicated of him. Can't help thinking that he'd have some miserable jobsworth telling him to be quiet in Scotland
