Poppycock

The Eden Project.

It's marketed pretty slickly, with 'Innocent Smoothie' style writing on the meticulously signed walkways, but is nothing more than a painfully dull experience made worse by having to weave in and out of hoards of people walking about viewing the whole thing through their outstretched camera. It's vastly overpriced too; a £9 price tag on a salad being amongst the more unforgivable money extrapolation techniques.

The poppies pictured above had a little tag claiming they are used to make morphine, something I could have done with as the rain started to pour down.

Later, we saw Bruno at the cinema. Some strokes of genius were present but I found the whole thing just a bit too 'shocking for shocking's sake', which is the point I guess.
