Shelter from the rain

This was taken on the last full day of the Latitude festival. All in all the weather was actually pretty good but as I took this a cloud had just burst and what a downpour. I hid under the tree opposite this with my mate Wanda, luckily we were all weatherproofed up. These guys didn't last long under this tree.

Afterwards it brightened and what a good day - began with Thom Yorke solo set (fab) , then poetry and browsing around, then a stroll in the woods, St Etienne ( who were ok ish ), then Nick Cave ( excellent ), we then caught the end of Gossip where there was a very heady and high atmosphere. After that we managed to get to a few discos, including the Dirt Disco in the woods. It was a great day and a really, really funny evening. We had some funny conversations with people, some guys we heard talking were unsure whether goats exsisted and thought that they were actually sheep (???), we couldn't help but correct them, but our evidence was a bit shaky, my mate Bob said "Look there are goats they are different I've had a goat curry."

I heartily recommend Latitude festival, of course as with all festivals the toilets take a bit of bravery but other than that it was just perfect.

Thing is all the partying hasn't done much for my lurgy, I can't fully shift it.
Here is a collage on Flickr from the same day. (same one I have linked to on the previous 2 blips btw)
