The future

This has been such a difficult and strange week. Losing my Mam so suddenly and unexpectedly last weekend has turned the whole world upside down. I know I would have found it so much harder to get through without my Gracie Pie, Hubby and the flutters and kicks of Baby Bump. It is times like this, when a family that is already very close-knit gets to spend so much time with each other, that make one appreciate every moment together. My niece's 17 month old daughter Lily has been here a lot and it has been lovely to see the girls getting to know each other better. Their six month age gap may seem a lot right now, but in years to come I hope they will be great friends.

We're still in Limbo. Things won't start to normalise until after this next week has passed and some lines can be drawn, but we made it through the first week and that is a relief.
