Sky

My photo assignment was easy today: shoot the sky.

I thought it was interesting how I came to decide today's assignment.

Two days ago I went out to shoot a fence for camera shy. But I ran into a fire.

Yesterday I went out to shoot a fence. But the fences were ugly. I have learned from Northern that it is not worth shooting ugly things if your heart is not in it. But I saw some flags and nice lenticular clouds and I shot that.

As I was looking at the lenticular clouds I thought it would be interesting to just shoot the clouds,... so, today's assignment. I left a little earth down there so you wouldn't get vertigo trying to find the horizon.

scintilla is taking a digital photo course and was interested in the photo assignments provided by benek and blueplanetphoto. Here there are:

blueplanetphoto:
1. Random Images: Shoot generally random images over a period of time. Shoot them without thought to composition, subject, placement of elements, etc. These should be as random as possible. Review the results and choose any that seem to be significant. Review why you chose these images over the others? What makes the other images less significant?
2. Something/someone you dislike
3. No face portrait. Try to capture the essence of a person without showing their face (discussed in a previous blip)
4. Concepts (time, forgiveness, speed, business, leisure, fun, peace, war, etc.)
5. Randomly pick a word from a thesaurus and illustrate that word in photographs (I did this in Blipf for a while, quite a challenge, especially on a daily basis)
6. In between
7. Gesture (probably the most enigmatic and difficult concept in photography)

benek~ shoot more shots around your house or in your neighborhood

(With all of these blipper names in here you would think I was Scarlett O'Hara.)

I have added my own photo assignments as things catch my eye, that may be cheating. Tomorrow's assignment? I'm thinking.....
