Camera-Shy

I think I managed to get two hours' sleep last night.

It wasn't helped by eating a cheese-based meal at 11:30, and watching Lethal Weapon 3 (again), and getting into bed at 1:30. All the windows were open because it was hot and muggy, but still that had no effect; at 2:00 I rummaged around and found a fan - which helped me to finally go to sleep. Half an hour later there was an incredible racket as a thunderstorm deposited a months' rain in ten minutes - then it stopped. Having got to sleep again, I woke at 4:13, convinced I was being eaten alive by midges. So I closed all the windows, and as the sun came up, I considered getting dressed and going for a walk with the camera, but discounted that idea since I couldn't walk straight. Crashing into bed again, I was woken sporadically during the night as comments from blipfoto started coming into my head out of the ether........

Work was good though - for some reason my head was clear and I was able to construct a damn good database that will make my life easier from now on.

This evening, I am a zombie - stumbling over to the duck pond chanting "must blip" over and over again

It's another bloody swan - I have no energy for anything else.

Tomorrow I drive to Sittingbourne for a meeting, and fully expect to get to some sort of blip that does not involve floating creatures.....unless Kent villages have duckponds.
