Platform 11

There was an item in the news yesterday about how the ten worst stations on the rail network are going to get re-furbished. The stations were listed and included Wigan North Western, Warrington Bank Quay, Preston and Crewe, lined up one after the other with dreary inevitability all down the West Coast main line.

Here's platform 11 at Crewe at about 4 pm, looking north - I was evidently a bit too early to catch the full impact of rush hour.
