  1. Olive trees have such cool leaves. Yeah, It was ice on the lake..It has warmed up this week.. Last week I blipped a guy skating on it.

  2. Whenever olives are pruned it seems that as much is taken away as is left. I don't understand it really, as the trees don't double in size every year!

  3. Work worth doing for a good crop next year.

  4. I need to get out and do a bit of radical pruning here. Wish the bushes and trees concerned were half as interesting - and equally dry!

  5. Oh, I need to do that with my plants and flowers so they will come back next year, too! Love the colors - great picture!

  6. The more you cut off the better it is next year, if it is like the roses in our garden.

    ~ grannyannie

  7. I've put a couple more of the old wash house on my photo blog :-)

  8. The tree is still quite small- it's doing well.

  9. Are the prunings aromatic if you used them on a bbq?

Hopefully you get as good a crop next year as you did this year.

Thanks for your comments re: wind. You're right. Wind affects everything so it is a matter of 'seeing'.

It feels like ages since I last enjoyed an olive.

  11. Lucky, no climbing involved!
