Blimey!! I've experienced some droughts before and travelled through Malawi when there was a severe lack of water but not seen anything like this. Is it a reliable source or might this dry up as well? Good news that there is to be a well digging programme. Great blip.

Looks like a small quantity of water there. How much water does the well produce?
~ Chaos

All the sources in this new area look pretty hopeless, but the worrying thing is that it is very early in the year. This generally happens in October or November, before the rainy season.
harisen will discuss the situation with the Chiefs

When we have so much at the moment it's just hard to imagine.

why oh why is the planet like this - I mean, there's me running pure fresh clean cold water down the drain (which I quite rightly feel guilty about when I see your blips) just for the purpose of taking a photograph.

That looks like a disaster in the making - good luck with that well.
Super Foto btw.

Oh, I sure wrote on this yesterday, but I must have forgotten to submit it!
I hope they´ll have water. That´s really dependence no 1 ! Without food we can manage quite a long time but without water we only manage two days!

Excellent image! Just proves how much these people really do need help. You really are doing a fantastic job for a fantastic cause.
