Saturday 19 December 2009: North wind
The temperature was around freezing all morning with a biting north wind, but the light was clear and bright. These olive trees at the top of the hill above our garden were being blown by the wind and showing the beautiful silvery undersides of their leaves.
I blipped this tree and the mazet behind it in September - here - so you can see the difference between summer and winter vines!

Fab shots both I think! VERY cold here too, I'm lurking indoors keeping warm!

A nice contrast between those two shots!

I can't make it feel cold, looking at it -- still think it's a warm day for some reason. Such a gorgeous path...

The North wind doth blow and we shall have snow. My Mum always quotes that - and she is right!

What a difference between seasons. The trees in the wind look as though they are touched with snow. Excellent composition.
