Marker to a safe harbour

This bouy marks the entrance to Newport Harbour. On any mariners chart of So Cal waters it will marked with an icon of a fixed bouy and the letters RW NWP Mo(A). This tells you that the bouy marks a channel, it is red and white and the channel is Newport. The Mo(A) stands for morse code alpha. It flashed in a short then long light, to be identified at night at sea. I wish life had such markers to help us all make proper choices!
