Soup is good food...

Had wanted to go along and see the Campbells soup cans on the front of the National Gallery, also to figure out how long the exhibition was so I'd know when I had to free up a day for it. News of a fire at Romanes & Paterson on Princes Street just seemed to add to the reasons for heading along at lunch time.

Boy was it a busy place to be. The Mound is always busy when the festival is on but it was crazy today. Part of Princes Street was closed to traffic. Tourists and locals alike where standing watching the fire brigade outside R&P and milling around watching performing street artists. Police trying to co-ordinate the whole thing and everyone else staring at the soup tins.

One guy just didn't seem to notice the crowds though...
