A fantastic salmon I caught on this tiny river. (sorry - location secret)

Dave had hooked a big fish in the same pool yesterday and lost it. I fished it through first this time. It is probably the same fish that Dave lost but this time it held on. The fish took my fly just out from the bank and I shouted on Dave who ran down and helped me land it.

An incredible moment - the first fish of the year from the river and my first fresh big salmon - and on a small trout rod. It weighed almost 10 pounds and I will remember this day for the rest of my life.
