Notre Dame--and More!

I took this blip of Notre Dame and the Seine late this afternoon from the 9th floor of the Institut du Monde Arabe. There is a restaurant and a wide terrace with an extended view from the west (here) to nearly 180 degrees to the east, along the Seine. The structure on the left is a corner of another part of the same building.

To put the Eiffel Tower in the center of the window I had to switch my Canon 5D to live view and reach down as far as possible over the railing at the western end of the terrace. Below the view of the Eiffel Tower the windows reflect buildings on the other side of the river and a bit of the other end of the near bridge. (I love reflections!)

The potential for merged panoramas from the terrace is great--maybe another day!
