Thursday 18 March 2010: 2 atoms in a molecule
Graffiti under one of the bridges on the Bristol Bath Railway Path.
And if love is just a game
Then how come it's no fun?
If love is just a game
How come I've never won?
I guess maybe it's possible I might be playing it wrong
And that's why every time I roll the dice
I always come undone
2 Atoms in a Molecule
Noah and the Whale
Funny :-)
Someone recently asked me if I was OK, worried about my choice of lyrics on here. Lol. Yes, I'm fine :-). Good lyrics are like a good book in that they take you somewhere you're not - you don't have to have experienced the same things as the writer to be moved by what they say. I have very little in common with, say, Bob Dylan or Morrissey but that doesn't stop them being two of my favorite song writers.

I like the sound of that.
I only had a morning in Bristol when I visited the UK last year and spent it running around photographing graffiti. I wish I'd had more time...
I did see lots of interesting ones travelling to Bath on the train afterwards.
I so want to go back ;-)
Unfortunately I can't access Spotify from NZ ;-(

Nice lunchtime tale. Reminds me of a colleague who told me about his daughter who was standing at the back door with her boyfriend one evening. "What are you doing?", he asked. "We're just necking Dad". Looking down from the bathroom window, he could see an act of congress was about to take place. "Well, tell your boyfriend to put his neck back in his trousers and get in this house now".

You've said some bad things about Dylan though!

Greeting from Cambodia! Nice bit of graffiti, I don't think I've seen that one - maybe further than I've gone.
Thanks for the link to Hollywood, managed to download it at the airport and now it's my holiday track - would like to have got the album. I'm enjoying your lyrics whatever the inspiration!
