My Everyday

Crush

In just 3 days these "teeth" will be tearing through walls, tin, wood, and concrete...what once was a home to so many, will be rumble on the ground.

Required by the county where we live, we will be tearing down the old farm house on our property. We are "zoned" only one dwelling, and having built a new house recently, we cannot have two inhabitable spaces here. The house has been here since 1901 and has been the home to not only many of my husband's relatives, but many others before them.
We lived in the house for 2 1/2 years, and don't get me wrong, it was definitely a home, but I'm not too sad to see it go. Though it has provided warmth and memories for many before us, it is on it's last leg and in poor condition.

If you have a few moments, you can view New Growth, where I wrote a bit more about it.

I'm sure I will be blipping more about this over the next few days. Happy weekend fellow Blippers!
