That's Quacktastic

Surprise! These precious little dyed ducklings were at the house last night when I got home. The orange one (hook 'em) is Ginger* because.. hello, I'm a ginger and I graduated from UT. The blue one is Caroline's and she named it Aqua; the green one is Evie's and she named it Clover.
There was also a pink one (Rose) that Reese took back to Austin with her. And there are four non-dyed, younger ducklings too.
These precious little ones nestled on my lap. I hope I can somehow trick them into imprinting on me because I absolutely adore them.

Billy Madison: Well, I made the duck blue because I'd never seen a blue duck before and I wanted to see one.
Miss Lippy: Well, I think it's an excellent blue duck. Congratulations Billy, you just passed the first grade.
Billy Madison: Wow, Miss Lippy, that's great. What do you think of that Mr. Blue Duck?
[pretending to be duck]
Billy Madison: That's quacktastic.

It's kinda crazy to think that kids in college these days (in the US) already didn't grow up with Billy Madison as a principal watch-this-movie-at-a-slumber-party-in-sixth-grade-and-then-quote-it-for-the-remainder-of-your-adolescence like my friends did. I've tested this theory and have been disappointed in my findings. The movies they are growing up with are just... for lack of a better word - unfunny. And most likely Disney. (which isn't all bad..) I feel as though the tangent I'm on has no end. So I'm cutting it.

Crawfish boil for Gina DeMayo and her fiancé this evening. It was lovely... though Evie apparently likes her "crawfish spicier and Granddaddy made them too watery tonight".. well, well Evie. Touché.

*oh yeah, Ginger is mine. S/he also looks s/he was in a knife fight or the likes because her head is pretty messed up. That either means that she's just really tough or very sensitive. A question I often ask myself...damn.
