Road Trip

Today we went on a much needed Road Trip. It was time to get out of the house and see the countryside. We decided to take the scenic route to Ashburton. The Autumn colours were stunning but the air quite cool.
My hubby chose this photo out of many, the Rakaia River. It is one of the largest braided rivers in New Zealand and is briefly confined to a narrow canyon known as the Rakaia George.
He liked how the clouds ran a similar path to the river.
