Tthe identity and slogan for the John Lennon airport in Liverpool.
The artwork and and line are both Lennon's own (I think) - a brave move by whichever councillors commissioned the identity, but spot on imho.
Bet JL never thought it'd be used this way when he penned them..

So much cooler than Prestwick's "Pure Dead Brilliant".
Inspired to put Dead in the strapline for an airport.
Love the wee Lennon scribble - the mix of typography styles is a bit bizarre... :)
