Cormorant take-off

Phalacrocorax carbo
An easy choice of blip today. A lunchtime donder down the Water of Leith, grey, uncontrasty light and not much happening.
Then noticed that this cormorant was working his way down the river, keeping pace with me; a few shots, then he took off.
I realised just after shooting that I hadn't re-set the ISO from 200, but I like the blurred wings and water drops. Also nice that he chose a spot where there were only green plants reflected in the water, rather than houses or graffitied brick walls; very considerate! ;)

Best embiggened!
