New Shoes

It's my birthday on Monday, and we're going dancing.

So today my husband treated me to some new shoes. Theres a lot of things I could say - but I do think that Paolo Nutini says it better:

"Hey, I put some new shoes on,
and suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
it so inviting,

slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,
and i'm running late,

But alas - no plum jam today. Tomorrow!
