Looking for a Rare Bird

This morning I decided to walk down to the Mersey about a one minutes walk from my front door. Why I undertook this marathon trek was to see if there were any Herons on the water front, hopefully looking majestic gazing out over the expanse of river. I turned the corner and spotted this rare bird !!!
Not a majestic pose more a Blippers Hunch!!
